Anonymous asked: Who would you like to play in compatability?
i generally play males so i’d probably play noah. i know a lot of people don’t like playing male characters so i usually just offer to play the male parts. i like playing males more, to be honest. but if someone offers to play the male part i’d be fine with that.
going to bed now. jfc that was a pain to write.
i should just stick to plot bunnies. seriously.
plot #003: compatibility » open
In a momentary lapse of judgement, an ivy league bound senior participates in a school wide compatibility test run by student council during a pre-Valentine’s Day extravaganza. Her top match, at a shocking ninety-seven per cent, is Noah Gallagher, the local rebel without a cause and perennial pain in her ass.
so the thing i had to do today ended up taking all afternoon and i’ve been with my nephew since i got back. i’m going to start the full plot right now. c:
Anonymous asked: right so i was going to apply for 001 but 003 just sprouted a new muse in my head so maybe i should wait???
glad you like it! c: if you want to wait for the full plot that’s fine with me. i’ll probably have it up by tonight. i have some things to do during the day so probably by like 6-7pm my time (see sidebar).
going to bed because i’m exhausted from doing absolutely nothing all day
Anonymous asked: oh no, i totally get it. ^-^ that's amazing and definitely interested in applying. how would you rather see a sample of my writing since i dont have any accounts goin' on right now?
if you don’t have a link you can just copy and paste it in the submit box. i only put that i prefer links because samples can make my inbox pretty difficult to navigate. it’s really not that big of a deal. if you don’t have access to old paras you could just type up something random. just make it a length that you’re comfortable with and that you can keep up with. c:
Anonymous asked: omg i want to apply for plot one but it's kind of vague so i only half understand what happens help me. also i don't have any roleplay accounts right now bc i've been out of the game due to college. what do i do help
i had a feeling it was kind of vague too. sorry about that. so it started with the female suffering from depression which ended up being too much for her to deal with. she committed suicide hoping that she would find peace on the other side but, unfortunately for her, she got stuck in a limbo type state where she only ‘exists’ when she’s near the male character. after her death, the male character ended up spiralling into depression and contemplated committing suicide as well. he tried but didn’t succeed. his near death experience enabled him to see her (hear her, touch her, etc). basically she’s a spirit with unfinished business. if i didn’t explain that well enough i can try again. aha.
i’ve actually been on hiatus from roleplaying for the same reason. i just remade my account yesterday and i’ll eventually just be making side accounts for characters and such.
plot #002: countdown » open
She was sixteen when she saw her first countdown. It appeared out nowhere; a blinding light in the midst of a gloomy overcast day. At first she thought it was lightning, but when it appeared again later that day she realized it was much more than that. There, hovering above her best friend’s head, was a series of glowing orange numbers and letters.
2920d 05h 27m 13sA few months after the sighting of her first countdown, she witnessed what happened when a countdown finally reached its end. She was taking the city bus home, just like any other day, and noticed a woman with a dwindling countdown just two seats in front of her. It was nerve-wracking, watching the minutes tick by and wondering what would happen when it completed. As the minutes turned to seconds she noticed a man at the front of the bus with a countdown identical to the woman’s. The two stood from their seats simultaneously, walking toward the open door to exit the bus, and as their paths crossed the man gestured for her to go first. Then their eyes met and the countdowns ended, the orange lights erupting into an explosion of colour that sent off sparks and swirls in every direction. The pair exited the bus and, as she turned in her seat, she saw them standing together on the sidewalk, smiling and laughing as they chatted. She could only assume that the orange light was a countdown to the meeting of two soulmates.
Knowing the exact moment when everyone would meet their soulmate made life difficult for her. She’d always thought that putting her life on hold for one person seemed ridiculous but, still, the constant fear of not being ‘the one’ prevented her from getting close to others. Instead, she preferred to focus on the love lives of others. Fresh out of college she landed herself a job writing her own advice column entitled ‘Ask [Name]’. The column was a quick success and she’s been helping others with their relationship woes ever since.
Currently twenty-four years old, she is a firm believer in the concept of ‘Mr. Right Now’. She knows her soulmate is out there and, despite being a hopeless romantic at heart, she’s decided that waiting around for her significant other to show his face just isn’t going to work. Especially now that she’s reunited with her best friend from high school. His countdown is mere weeks from completion and, since it was the first one she saw all those years ago, she is determined to see it end. The only problem is that spending time with him is making her feel all sorts of… things. The sort of things she shouldn’t be feeling for a guy who’s going to meet his soulmate within a few short weeks.
